Researching Informal Transporation Systems in Lebanon with UNDP
This project focused on researching informal transportation within Lebanon. As a consultant, responsibilities encompassed the design and planning of the research, utilising a desk review to extract crucial findings and guide field studies.
User profiles and personas were identified to understand the diverse perspectives surrounding informal transportation. To gather meaningful insights, surveys were conducted with 30-50 individuals from varied demographics and psychographics. In addition, 10-15 in-depth interviews were carried out with relevant stakeholders.
These research activities provided answers to critical questions, such as public perceptions, behaviours, motivations, and the trusted sources of information related to informal transportation.
The project also required mapping of demographic and geographic hotspots for informal transportation, which enabled a comprehensive understanding of its usage patterns across the country.
